Many policyholders worry they will not have control over the decorative products that are used in their properties after an insurance claim.

You had the choice when originally decorating your home; you will have the choice when dealing with the insurance claim. This page is intended to help answer any questions you may have regarding materials.

Do I have to buy the materials?
You will be given two options when discussing materials. All materials are allocated an allowance. The policyholder is given the option to purchase the goods themselves, keeping the receipt in order that we may reimburse you. Alternatively you can forward all relevant details to Ace-Tek UK in respect of your replacement materials. The Contracts Manager will advise you on the allowance for the materials, together with obtaining all the relevant barcode details etc. Ace-Tek UK will purchase all the materials on your behalf and guarantee their delivery to our warehouse.

Do I have to collect the materials?
If you have chosen to purchase the materials yourself, we would prefer for you to arrange the delivery/collection of the goods. If this is not possible with larger items, please contact us and we will then arrange for the delivery/collection on your behalf.

Do I have to go to e.g. Howdens/B&Q/Floors-2-go to choose my materials?
No. Generally you choose from any local outlet available providing we have plenty of notice. We recommend larger outlets due to a wider range of choice and stock availability.

Please note we advise any materials purchased from Discount Centre’s are purchased immediately by yourselves, as many Discount Centre’s deal with end of ranges and stock is not always available.
